Hrm. How is it messed up? The file that's up is the same as my local export copy. I have a 700MB version, but it's MJPEG and I currently don't have that video codec handy. (I originally used a Matrox Rainbow Runner card to capture footage) If I can find a codec that works with it, I'll make a divx version or something and put it up here.

As for Katsucon, yeah, it tied for 1st, the main reason why is that I couldn't get ahold of fully unsubbed footage and the judges weren't happy about that. (Even though there was no explicit rule against it and the head of ADV films was there and *he* loved it) Also they screwed up my showing slightly, but it happens.

I'm guessing you are the creator of "Nuku said knock you out"? I watched the AMV of that title on YouTube, and went searching for a download of it from animemusicvideos.org only to find that the file is a bit, well, fu**ed in some parts, data corrupted or something of that sort I guess. I hope I've found the right person to request this of, could you re-upload your Cat Girl Nuku Nuku amv to that website? It's a very good amv is why I ask... Even though it was made 10 years ago, it's perfect. What's this about it tying for 1st place at Katsucon instead of knocking out the competition completely?! Thanks for your time.

[...] Well first off, there are waaay to many people excited about this!! With the initial 25 person limit filled in the first couple of hours, we now have more then double that number trying to get in! Yes….we are trying to open it up to more people (btw, Lunch 2.0 is OPEN to EVERYONE), but you may just have to wait for the next one :) [...]

I am also one of the seemingly few who are not excited by it. I keep hearing how this is the first phone that has an all-touch screen interface. I was using a Nokia 7710 3 years ago that was all touch screen (with a couple buttons on the side).

I agree that it is way overpriced for a CARRIER LOCKED phone with little memory. I refuse to purchase carrier locked phones anymore because I am tired of the carriers crippling the capability. I had not heard that there was no way to install apps on the iphone, but that is what Cingular does. They had Nokia cripple the E61 and release it as the E62 (I have the fully functioning E61).

Yes, previously they could only do the math/geometry calculations on the fingerprint. However, they've said that even with the new system, that's all they're going to do. They're not storing fingerprints, just the calculation results. Now, obviously The Mouse could be lying and is storing everything, but I think The Mouse's desire for money is greater than its desire for controversy. In the end all they want to do is verify that Joe Average at the gate actually bought the tickets he bought as quickly as possible. And again, you do not have to get your fingerprint scanned, they'll just check ID. Personally I think they should design a method where they can take a picture of you as you buy your tickets quickly and print them out if they're that worried about it. Photos are much less controversial.

One difference, is that previously WDW was scanning "geometry and shape" (dunno how those are different) of fingers but not the biometric data of the ridge pattern. Also, they do say (in rather inflammatory language, granted) that it's still a potential danger, but that it's downright irresponsible of them to store that data where it could be subpoenaed.

The other point they mention, however, is a good one (IMNSHO). It's further conditioning people to expect being treated like a criminal in daily life, which makes it much easier for draconian measures to creep in slowly.
